For the third edition of Tara Ultra trail (first weekend of July – 02-03/07/2022), we are preparing completely new trails, in a completely different part of Tara! The center of events are Kaludjerske Bare, wide plateau in the eastern part of maountain. In addition to the usual 65km, 25km and 11km lengths, the menu will also include a great, “small” ultra of 45 km, for all those who would like to try ultra-distances the first time. A great way to enter the Ultra world, on the most beautiful mountain in Serbia!
The trail will take you through the valley of Jarevac, next to lake Jarevac, over the highest peak of Tara in Serbia – Zborište, at 1545 meters; a fantastic descent past three mountain lakes: Ploštice, Spajici and Zaovinsko Lake, over the top of Gavran peak, next to breathtaking waypoints: Oslusa, Sokolarica and Crnjeskovo! A special rarity are the Lađevac waterfall and the medieval Rača monastery, in the last part of the trail, before the final ascent.
These are just some of the reasons why the first weekend of July should be reserved for mountain Tara and TUT! Welcome to Tara!
